About me

I am Juha K. Siltala, a researcher and doctoral student at the Center for Research on Activity, Development and Learning (CRADLE), University of Helsinki. I am also a Free Software cheerleader, an electronic civil rights fist-shaker, an armchair tree-hugger, a geek, and a pretty good drummer. I’m a great drinking buddy but not much of a craftsman.

I’m a member of the Ubuntu project ever since its inception and also served two terms on the Ubuntu IRC council. I am also an ancient member and ex-Chairman of the Finnish Linux User Group (FLUG). I still serve on the FLUG’s Board.
